Big Brothers, Big Sisters
Since 2007, Avon Canada has been a proud supporter of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Canada, helping to establish and develop “Go Girls! Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds” mentoring programs across the country.
Go Girls! is a program designed to address the physical activity, balanced eating and positive self-image needs of young women ages 12-14 based on a group mentoring model. To date, Avon has donated over $200,000 to the cause and this year through Avon’s Smile Contest, the company plans to donate another $50,000. www.bbbsc.ca.
Space to Share
Did you know that Avon’s Canadian corporate headquarters is also home to two West-Island community organizations?
Avon is proud to donate and share its space with ANEB Anorexia and Bulimia Quebec, which offers free professional support to people affected by eating disorders. www.anebquebec.com.
