Helping Haiti
When it comes to helping during times of crisis, Avon is there. This past year, Avon Global donated $1 million to The Red Cross and Doctors without Borders in support of Haiti relief efforts after a catastrophic earthquake left almost an entire population homeless without food and clean drinking water. The support continued when Avon Canada sent 1,000 boxes of apparel, supplies and hygiene products and donated $20,000 to the Global Women’s Fund. In addition, Avon donated 50 cents for every Skin So Soft product sold over 3 campaigns, raising an additional $100,000 to support new sustainable housing projects within the devastated country.
